European Bison

European Bison (Bison bonasus) is a terrestrial habitat animal in Planet Zoo 2, listed for the Taiga and Temperate biomes and native to Europe. Its IUCN category in the Zoopedia is "Near threatened", and it ships with the base game.

Males reach about 2 m in length and 1 kg; females about 1.83 m and 1 kg. Use these figures when sizing viewing areas and shelters before the full habitat requirements are confirmed at launch.

For barriers, the Zoopedia export lists grade 3 with a minimum height of 1.25 m. Water barriers are not accepted for this species. Mixing it with other species means taking the highest grade and height among them; the barrier planner does that for you.
